Londonbeat first appeared in 1988. The Rhythm & Blues band originally consisted of the two American singers Jimmy Helms, George Chandler and Jimmy Chambers from Trinidad. Their debut reached the UK pop charts; but the boys became world stars in the early 90s with their song "I've Been Thinking About You", which was #1 in 27 countries and generated over 5 million sales.

In 2001 Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann signed Londonbeat and produced 2 albums with them: "Gravity" and "Back to the Hi-Life".

In 2018 "I've Been Thinking About You" was remixed by the successful producer Klass, and the title once again became a club hit with No.1 position in the USA, Germany, Italy, France, Denmark and Australia. This was followed by "You Bring On The Sun" in a new sound. Both top hits entered the European club charts again, and were streamed millions of times.

The album "30 Years Londonbeat", released in 2019, combines all the popular evergreens remastered as original versions and as remixes
